The Avenue Verte London-Paris
From London, you can cycle to Paris thanks to the Avenue Verte cycle route. It connects London to Paris over 400km through a mosaic of landscapes. The tourist cycles from castles to cathedrals and from remarkable cities to lovely villages.
The Veloscenic and the Avenue Verte share the same end (or starting) point, at Notre-Dame de Paris!
Saint Jacques à vélo
Vous cherchez une jonction entre la Véloscénie et la Loire à Vélo entre Chartres et Tours ? La Saint-Jacques à vélo emprunte des voies cyclables et de petites routes de campagne sur la trace des anciennes voies de pélerinage.
Les premières étapes, communes avec la Véloscénie, vous conduiront de Rambouillet à Illiers-Combray en passant par Chartres puis le long du Loir en direction du sud via Chateaudun, Vendôme et Montoire-sur-Loir (étapes communes avec l'itinéraire de la Vallée du Loir à vélo) avant de rejoindre la vallée de la Loire au niveau de Tours.
Distance totale entre Rambouillet et Tours : 266 km / Distance entre Chartres et Tours : 213 km
La Vallée du Loir à vélo
Suivez la rivière le Loir entre Beauce, Perche et Sarthe depuis sa source près d'Illiers-Combray jusqu'à sa confluence avec la Loire à hauteur d'Angers. Un itinéraire campagnard ponctué de villages bucoliques et de paysages agricoles (céréales, vignes et vergers) qui vous permettra de lier la Véloscénie et la Loire à vélo. Quelques unes des étapes remarquables sur cet itinéraire : Chateaudun, Vendôme, le château renaissance du Lude, le zoo de la Flèche.

La V44 : Alençon - Le Mans - Saumur
L'itinéraire de la V44 (pour "véloroute 44") vous invite à suivre de petites routes tranquilles et des voies de halage entre la Normandie et jusqu'au Val de Loire. Une "variante est" comportant une belle ascension et un passage au musée du vélo "La Belle échapée" séduira les plus sportifs (ce dernier est situé à 6 km de la Véloscénie entre Le Mêle-sur-Sarthe - Alençon). Vous apprécierez les villages des Alpes Mancelles (Saint-Cénéri-le-Gérei, Saint-Léonard-des-Bois et Fresnay-sur-Sarthe), le coeur historique et l'enceinte romaine du Mans, le zoo de la Flèche, le château de Beaugé-en -Anjou.

La Vélo Francette: from Ouistreham to La Rochelle
Travel from the Normandy coast to the Atlantic coast via typical French landscapes and middle-sized cities like Caen, Domfront, Laval, Angers, Saumur and Niort. "La Vélo Francette" links the Véloscenic in Domfront.
Distance between Caen and Domfront: 149 km / Distance between Laval and Domfront: 86 km / Total distance of the Vélo Francette between Ouistreham and La Rochelle: 650 km
La Vélomaritime - EuroVelo 4 in Brittany and Normandy
It is possible to continue your cycling trip from the Mont St-Michel into Brittany, or from Normandy to Britain, thanks to these two routes, set up in the framework of the Cycle West European project.
Since 2012, you have the possibility to cycle the «Petit Tour de Manche » and the longer «Tour de Manche ».
D-Day beaches - The Mont Saint-Michel
Connecting two major sites of Normandy, this unique cycle route starts from D-Day beaches, historic hotspot for the free world, to end up with the "grand finale", in front of the Mont Saint-Michel. It is a nice way to rediscover the counties of Calvados and Manche counties on its own path, through their wooded countryside, their hills and rivers.
The Veloscenic, this cycle route and the Tour de Manche route share a section between Mortain and the Mont Saint-Michel.
"La Loire à Vélo" - Loire Valley by bike
This is the oldest French cycle route. Tourists can cycle along the Loire river over 800km, from castles to vineyards and from riverbanks to countryside.
The Loire à Vélo trail is part of the Eurovelo 6, which connects 10 countries over 3600km, from France to Romania!
You can cycle from the Veloscenic to the Loire à Vélotrail following the V44 from Alençon to Saumur or the Vélo Francette (V43) (Ouistreham/La Rochelle) from Domfront to Angers.
The Velodyssey
Once you have arrived in Roscoff, west Brittany, you can branch off and follow the north direction to England or set off to the south of France.
The Velodyssey cycle route allows you to discover the atlantic coast by bike, from North Devon, England to Santander, Spain.
The Devon - Brittany section is also part of the European Cycle West project. Furthermore, the whole route is part of the Eurovelo 1, connecting Norway to Portugal!
