Tracy&Chenel on the Veloscenic

Tracy Melass cycled the Veloscenic during 7 days to connect one of the most fascinating UNESCO World Heritage sites, the Mont Saint Michel. She writes a very detailed description of her adventure to help you plan a similar trip. Her friend and photographer Chenel Ferreira set off with her to show their ride in pictures.

Among “chateaux, cathedrals and churches, eye-wateringly beautiful scenery, a bucolic wonderland of golden fields, endless tree canopies…”,  each stage is fully and nicely described with anecdotes and Tracy's favourite places.

A Veloscenic “what you need to know” page gives you all details about the route and good advice : what bike do you need, places to eat, route highlights, luggage transfer services, 15 top tips, ... Specific reviews on each accommodation help you to find the best place to stay in!

Delighted in riding the Veloscenic, Tracy sums up this challenging bike adventure in few words :

Did it live up to expectation? Far exceeded it. Was it an experience of a lifetime? Yes! Would I do it again? Definitely!
