Rémalard, an artistic village

Rémalard, with just 1,275 inhabitants, proves a surprisingly artistic village. It boasts art galleries, a theatre company, artists, craftspeople, a cultural centre, plus restaurants and a tearoom. This astonishing dynamism is due in good part to the many people from Paris and the Ile-de-France region attracted to the Perche area. Many stop here on weekends or during the holidays, and a fair number have second homes nearby. They support the local cultural and economic life.
