Is it possible to book luggage transfer along the Veloscenic route?

At the moment, there is no structured luggage transfer service covering the entire route. However, some all-inclusive packages offered by tour operators do include this service.

It's perfectly normal to feel unsure about carrying your bags on your bike, especially if you're new to bike touring. In reality, riding with loaded panniers is much easier than it seems. We recommend testing it over a day by borrowing panniers and getting advice from a local bike shop or experienced bike travelers.

Where can you charge your e-bike battery?

First, we recommend using an e-bike with a theoretical range of at least 70 to 90 km per charge. As for charging locations, you can find power outlets in some secure bike boxes in towns or near heritage sites. Don’t hesitate to stop by Accueil Vélo-certified tourist offices — they’ll often be happy to let you charge your battery while you take a break in the village center.

The easiest option is to charge your e-bike during your evening stopovers. You’ll usually have no trouble finding an outlet to plug in your battery. In Accueil Vélo-certified accommodations, this service is even guaranteed. Just don’t forget your charger! 😉

Where can you get your bike repaired along the route?

See the list of all bike repair shops located along or near the route.

For minor repairs (punctures, loose bolts), you can also ask Accueil Vélo-certified accommodations — many of them have basic tools available for cyclists.
